BrainLove grew out of Dr. Dani Cabral’s frustration with the many barriers in the traditional healthcare system to provide holistic and responsive care and support to patients and families. She subsequently observed patients and families “give up” early in the disease course, becoming demoralized and dehumanized. The truth is, there is a better way.
BrainLove is transforming the narrative on Alzheimer’s and related diseases of aging through cutting-edge medical care, accessible education, trusted resources, and inspiring community. We optimize cognition and function through personalized care that empowes patients and families with clarity, courage, and openness to growth and transformation. BrainLove is not here to do business as usual – we’re here to rewrite the rules.
Dr. Cabral is a double board-certified neurologist and psychiatrist. She specializes in healthy brain aging, Alzheimer’s and related diseases, and has expertise in clinical care and clinical trials. Her mission is to bridge the gap between cutting-edge science, real-world experience, and deeply personalized care with a new model that challenges the outdated narrative of brain aging and replaces it with courage, connection, and imagination.
She has cared for individuals and families living with these diseases for over a decade and has served as principal investigator on numerous Alzheimer’s clinical trials. Dr. Cabral has been awarded grants to develop innovative programs to enhance Alzheimer’s awareness and care access through community partnerships, and she provides ongoing community and professional education on a local, national, and international level and serves as an industry consultant.
